English for Older Teens and Young Adults
( Examination Training )

We are experts in preparing students for examinations.

At around the age of 14 students at CBAM start to get ready for the first of their major public examinations in English: PET, Cambridge ESOL´s Preliminary Test

Now the students will be required to demonstrate their knowledge of English in the fields of Reading and Writing, Listening and Speaking.

The general training the students have received over the years is now orientated to specific objectives and skills. We believe that it is essential to structure the progress of the students through stages of challenge and reward. One of the most reliable ways of achieving that is to guide a student to success through the Cambridge ESOL suite of examinations, which is described below.

The students will have to work hard but in doing so they become ever more fluent not only in their speaking of English but also in their skills as writers in English. As they progress from one examination level to the next they expand securely their knowledge of the language.

With success comes a Cambridge ESOL Certificate, which is universally accredited as proof of abilities in English.
