English for Children

At CBAM we make use of children’s natural enthusiasm and keen sense of curiosity as the main ingredients’ for language learning. From our first ‘Hello’, ‘Bonjour’ or ‘Guten Tag’ we create a positive atmosphere, where learning is fun and stimulating. Our methods take advantage of children’s natural energy and interest to explore their imaginative and creative capacities. Our classes courses are predominantly taught in the second language and teachers makes use of objects, images, activities, songs, games and play to introduce the language in a natural and motivating manner taking into consideration that not all children learn in the same way.

All of our activities prioritize and promote the development of oral expression and interaction between students and teacher. The second language is seen not as something to be memorised but as a simple and tangible tool of communication which is relevant to the child’s world and their daily experiences.

We are proud of the sense of well-being that is established in our small classes which encourages children’s desire to communicate with the teacher, providing them with an opportunity to continuously perfect their aural abilities and become familiar with the sounds, rhythm and pronunciation of the second language, preparing and laying the foundations for students’ present and future success.
